You can delete your Yorkr account and its associated data at any time, straight from the app or by emailing us. This page explains both ways and what happens to your data afterwards.
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us instead:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account & profile | Name, username, email/phone, password, and profile photo are permanently deleted |
| Personal identifiers | Push notification token, device and usage data tied to you are permanently deleted |
| Match & scoring data | Matches, scorecards, and stats you contributed to may be retained in de-identified or aggregate form where needed to preserve the accuracy of other players' shared match history (for example, a scorecard for a match you played in) |
| Teams you manage | If you're a team's only admin, another player on the team takes over. A team with no one else who can manage it is deleted, or kept only as a record of its past matches |
| Legal/records | Any data we're required to keep for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes is retained only as long as required by law |
Deleting your account in the app takes effect immediately. We process email requests within a reasonable time after verifying your account, typically within 30 days. Some backups may take longer to purge but are not accessible for normal use in the meantime.
